PRIDE SIGN SHAWNELLE SCOTT & TODD LINDEMAN

Today the Pride announced that two key members of last year's CBA Championship team, Shawnelle Scott and Todd Lindeman, have returned to play for Connecticut. The two veteran big men signed contracts with the Pride this afternoon.
Scott, a 6-foot-10 power forward/center, was most recently in camp with the NBA's Denver Nuggets. Last season with the Pride, the 1994 St. John's grad averaged 7.4 ppg and 8.1 rpg in 15 regular season appearances. He also saw action in nine playoff games, averaging 3.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
Lindeman, a 7-0 center, was most recently in training camp with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs. Last year with the Pride, the 1996 Indiana grad averaged 10.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg in 35 regular season contests. He also started all 12 playoff contests, averaging 8.6 ppg and 4.8 rpg.
The Pride's 1999-2000 season gets underway on Nov. 19 when they host the Rockford Lightning at 7:05 p.m. in the Lion's Den at the State Armory in Hartford.
