As a Collegian:
Played in only 14 games as a senior before missing the remainder of the season due to NCAA suspension. Emerged as solid starter final two years at UConn after coming off the bench his first two seasons.
Played for three seasons alongside 1996 NBA first round picks Ray Allen and Travis Knight, with the trio helping the Huskies to the Big East Tournament title in 1996. Ranks seventh on UConn career field goal percentage list (53.0%).
As a senior, averaged 11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and a team-high 2.2 blocked shots per game. Helped team to a season-starting 11-3 record in 1996-97. Scored a career-high 21 points vs Northeastern. Was third on the team in both scoring (9.9 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg) as a junior. Played a supporting role in 33 games as a sophomore, averaging 3.2 points per game. As a freshman, saw limited action in 32 games.
